When the consent scrubbing is activated from 1st September 2021, your promotional and service Explicit messages will deliver only to the numbers for whom you have already uploaded the consent and it has been approved in the portal.
In case you are, for example, trying to send a promotional or a service explicit message to a customer’s mobile number, who registered on your platform the previous day, you would not be able to. You will need to upload the consent details, get the approval for the consent, which will take around 15 days, and then will be able to send messages to them.
Also, you will not be able to send messages to customers whose consent is recorded on your systems but not uploaded on the DLT portals.
