As a Reseller, you can go ahead and create customer accounts, which allows your customers to send messages, create txtly links, view their message statuses and analytics, and generate reports.
To do this, you will first need to convert your current account to a Direct Reseller Account.
Once your account is converted to a Direct reseller account, go ahead and follow the simple steps below to create your own reseller accounts:
Log in to your direct reseller account from the Alerts Application.
From the left-hand menu, find the “Reseller” option. In the drop-down menu that appears on clicking “Reseller”, select “Manage Customers”
Click on “+New” which can be found on the right-hand side top corner of the page that appears, as highlighted above.
A popup will appear as below:
Active: Keep the option “Active” as ticked. This will make sure that this username is active and accessible.
Domain to Login: Select the domain that the customer will need to access to log into the application
User Type: You have the option to select “Reseller” or “Customer” in this. Select the option as “Customer”
Full Name: Enter the Customer’s name
Username: Assign a username for the customer. 16 characters are allowed for the username.
Email Address: Enter the email address of the customer. All account changes or credit addition details will be communicated to this email address.
Mobile Number: Enter the mobile number of the registered customer.
Daily Usage Limit: Enter a usage limit of the number of messages that can be sent out from that customer account. This is a way for you to cap or put a limitation on the usage by any customer account.
Additional Details: You can also fill out the additional details of the customer company for reference and maintenance of data futuristically.
Once done click on save and the Customer account will be created and activated.
Please communicate to the customer their new account has been created and provide them the username.
They will then need to request a password reset from the application by navigating to the “Forgot?” and entering their new username to generate a link to their registered email ID.
Once the new password is set, they may log in and start sending out messages from their application or via API integrations
